Kennedy is strongly trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Pointe, Modern and Contemporary.

For the first 14 years of her dance life, Kennedy has trained at La Danse School of Dance in Saskatoon Saskatchewan.  With La Danse she has completed her Advanced 2 RAD Ballet exam with Distinction and her CDTA Advanced Tap exam with High Honours.

Kennedy also attened numerous conventions in various places in Canada and the US, where she has been very successful and won countless awards.  

 In 2010 Kennedy trained in Vancouver BC for 3 intense weeks with Josh Beamish.  After those 3 weeks were up, Kennedy flew directly to New York City for 2 weeks where she attended Termaine Dance Convention as well as other drop in classes at various New York studios such as Broadway Dance Center.

In 2011 Kennedy spent another 3 weeks in Winnipeg Manitoba, training with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. She then travled to Las Vegas to take part in another Termaine Convention.

Another 2 weeks were spent in New York City in the year 2012.  Again, Kennedy attended the Termaine convention, and various drop in classes.  

In the year 2013, Kennedy traveled to Toronto for 3 weeks of training with Deborah Lundmark.

In 2014, Kennedy travled to Los Angeles for 2 weeks where she took part in the Termaine Intensive as well as the LA Tap Festival where she worked closely with Debbie Allen.

Kennedy has taken class from and trained with individuals such as  Blake McGrath, Tiffany Maher, Lisa Latouche, Chloe Arnold, Kelly Konno, Kerry Gage, Jay T Schramek, Mark Meismer, Josh Beamish, Deborah Lundmark, Tara Jean Popowich, Brian Friedman, Meghan Sanett, Shannon Mather, Ian Eastwood, Marty Kudela, NappyTabs, Chaz Buzan, Sasha Kozak, Lauri-Ann Lauzon, Debbie AHazel-Ann Stark, Linda Erickson and Heather Myers and many others.

Kennedy is trained in the basics of Ariel Silks and Ariel Hoops.

Currently, Kennedy is spending most of her time training at George Brown College working closely with Derek Sangster, Dana Bondy, Hannah Kiel, Cindy Macedo, Susie Burpee, and many other talented individuals.  When not in class at George Brown, Kennedy attends mulitple drop in classes in Toronto.
